ABOUT
The Succulentia collection of Bosa was born from the observation of the plant world, and in particular the silent universe of succulents: tenacious creatures, guardians of strength and perseverance, capable of living and thriving even in adverse conditions.
Elena Salmistraro's creative sign interprets the different botanical varieties in their most characteristic features and transforms them into small postmodern totems thanks to the shiny surfaces and saturated colors that amplify the sculptural effect, translating ceramics into a vibrant matter full of meanings.
Vases and centerpieces take shape through the overlapping of full and soft volumes, which combine with each other as elements of the same stylistic and narrative alphabet.
Thus, rounded and deeply organic compositions are born, in which the color palette becomes emotional language.
Succulentia is an ironic collection that relates natural and artificial, reality and representation. Playful shapes and deliberately amplified proportions enhance the decorative dimension of objects, transforming them into living presences that convey a feeling of resilience and suggest a positive look at the world.
